My name is James, I’m 27 and I live in the UK. I have a wife and daughter.

When not working (for money), working (on my degree) and working (being a father/husband) I enjoy PC games, comics, music and sci-fi books/tv shows. I happily call myself a geek!

PC games wise there’s not much I don’t like, but I tend to favour FPS, strategy and MMOs.

Comics wise I’m mainly into Marvel, especially Captain America, various incarnations of the Avengers and Iron Man.

Music wise I like a bit of everything, but gravitate towards pop music.

Books wise I tend to only read a couple of authors. My favourite is Alastair Reynolds (hence the name of this blog) with Peter F Hamilton as a close second.

TV wise I love sci-fi. Anything by Joss Whedon is a given, the Treks, Battlestar Galactica, Lost and Fringe are my favourites. Other than sci-fi I like Family Guy/American Dad/Cleaveland show, 24, CSI Vegas and various Law & Order shows. Recently got into Glee too.
