I just want to take the time to say that I do have a rather brilliant life. I have a gorgeous wife and daughter. Hannah is happy most of the time, healthy and best of all on the whole sleeps from 6:30pm – 6:30am with no middle of the night feeds or cries. I’m in a well paid job (for the area) that is very secure. Which in the current climate is worth it’s weight in gold. Sure the job can be boring at times, but that’s why I’m studying my degree, to do what I really want (teach). Plus there aren’t many jobs that get you 14 weeks holiday a year! It’s lovely to think that we will always get to spend the school holidays with Hannah.

So yes, despite the odd moan, I am a very lucky guy. My life isn’t perfect, but who’s is?

I am particularly perky today because I have no real work to do! Sitting here relaxing with a hot chocolate. Hopefully I won’t get too many interruption and I can get lots of degree work done!
